In wild type egg chambers (A) or from sec61βP1germline clones (D) Sec5 is at a peripheral location in the oocyte. Co-staining with phalloidin (B and E) shows that both in wild type oocytes and oocytes from the germline clones Sec5 co-localizes at the plasma membrane. n indicates the position of the nucleus (C and F).
