FRAP analysis involving local bleaching of EGFP was carried out as described in the legend of Figure 6 with cells preincubated in the absence or presence of SDF-1, and without or with pretreatment with latrunculin A as indicated. The mobile fraction (M_F) was calculated for each individual cell and then averaged from a total of n = 11 - 12 cells observed in 3 independent experiments, as indicated (mean ± s.e.m.).
