Induction of OHSS rat model and upregulation of CFTR and AQP1 expression in peritoneal epithelial cells. Hyperstimulated rats given different combinations of gonadotropins showed significantly enhanced WT increase, ascites volumes and pleural effusion volumes compared with the controls (A, B and C; n = 5) with corresponding enhancement of CFTR and AQP1 protein expression by western blot in PMSG- and hCG-induced OHSS rat peritoneal epithelial cells.
