Bone marrow, breast adipose, olfactory tissue and foreskin fibroblast cells were tested for their ability to function as mesenchymal stem cells by examining their tri-lineage (adipocyte, osteocyte and chondrocyte) differentiation potential. Extensive (++), moderate (+), rare (+/-) and negative (-) differentiation is indicated.
