3H-inositol phosphate accumulation stimulated by GnRH was inhibited by RGS3. Pituitary cells were infected with adeno-βgal or adeno-RGS3 (5 M.O.I.) and 72 h later were treated with GnRH agonist (10-7 M for 1 h). Data presented are the means ± SEM (n = 4). The letter a above the results of the treatment groups indicates that a group is not statistically significantly different (p > 0.05) from its control whereas the letter b indicates difference (p < 0.05) from its control group.
