  1. [14C]oleic acid labeled hepatocytes were pre-incubated for 15 min with H7 (50 μM) or NaOH (l00 nM) alone prior to stimulation with L-T4 for 2 min. 1.5% ethanol was added 15 min before L-T4 addition or together with H7 (50 μM) or NaOH (100 nM) for determination of Peth formation in the cells. The data are mean ± S.E. of four separate experiments. * P < 0.05 vs. control.
