C), shows the pattern of microtubule concentration as observed by DAPI fluorescence (excitation 358 nm, emission 451 nm). D) shows the distribution of 1.0 μm diameter fluorescent polystyrene colloidal particles observed by way of their fluorescence (excitation 575 nm, emission 610 nm).
