Dyn I K44A inhibits Aβ formation. HEK-695 cells were transiently transfected with empty vector or dyn I K44A. Medium was collected for 24 hours and analyzed for Aβ1–40 levels by sandwich ELISA. Levels of Aβ1–40 were significantly lower in the medium of cells transfected with dyn I K44A. *, p < 0.05 by paired t-test.
