High glucose-induced CTGF upregulation in HUVSMC is dependent on TGF-β. HUVSMC cells were co-treated with high glucose (HG, 25 mmol/L) and a TGF-β neutralizing antibody (Ab; 10 μg/mL) for 24 hours.
