Bar 10 μm. b Cells were starved of transferrin in serum free media for 30 mins, followed by exposure to fluorescently labeled transferrin (Tf-Alexa 546) for 30 mins at 4 °C, followed by an additional 30 mins at 37 °C. Cells were rinsed in Tf-Alexa 546 free media supplemented with unlabeled transferrin, and stained using antibodies against LMTK2 (green). Red (Tf Alexa 546), blue (nuclei stained with DAPI). c Flow cytometry shows the total amount of transferrin taken up by cells at time t = 0 min (grey rectangle) and time t = 30 min chase (white rectangle).
