Ankle1 does not relocalize to the nucleus in response to DNA damage. U2OS cells stably expressing a catalytically inactive GFP-Ankle version were treated with the DNA damaging agents bleomycin or mitomycin C for 4 h or 48 h using high and low dosages, respectively: 3 μg/mL bleomycin, 1 μg/mL mitomycin C for 4 h (a), 1 μg/mL bleomycin or 0.5 μg/mL mitomycin C for 48 h (b). Fixed cells were imaged using confocal microscopy and representative images of at least three independent experiments are shown. Scale bars: 10 μm
