Ankle1 does not accumulate on mitotic DNA bridges induced by hydroxyurea treatment. U2OS cells stably overexpressing inactive GFP-Ankle1 were grown in the presence of 100 μM hydroxyurea for 18 h. Cells were fixed and processed for confocal fluorescence microscopy. Representative image out of at least 20 mitotic cells from three independent experiments is shown.
