Nuclear translocation of syndecan-1 affects the cell cycle distribution of fibrosarcoma cells. Cells transfected with the full-length (FLs1) or syndecan-1 lacking the nuclear localization signal (NLSdel) and empty vector (empty) were assayed with propidium iodide staining followed by flow cytometry, at 48 h after cell seeding.
