GFP-tagged copine proteins translocate to membranes in live cells treated with calcium ionophore. Cells expressing GFP or a GFP-tagged copine were treated with calcium ionophore in the presence of 2 mM CaCl2 or 5 mM CaCl2 for CpnF (Ca2+) or 5 mM EGTA (EGTA). Images were obtained with a Nikon Eclipse Ti inverted laser scanning confocal microscope using a 60× oil immersion objective. Representative images are shown for each copine cell line. Scale bar = 5 μm
