Myosin heavy chain (MHC) immunofluorescent staining (red = MHC, blue = DAPI) of co-cultures of Mb and ADSC on PCL-collagen I-PEO-nanofibers. Co-cultures were myogenically differentiated for 28 days in serum-free media (up right), serum-free media + GDF11 (down left), or standard serum-containing media (up left). Fibroblasts were allowed to proliferate on nanofibers for 1 week and served as negative control (down right).
