Comparison of MmCOP1 and AtCOP1 protein structural features and their subcellular localization signals. The protein domains, N-terminal extension, RING finger domain, coiled coil domain, and WD-40 domains, are shaded in distinct patterns. The putative nuclear envelope localization sequence (NE), the nuclear localization signal (NLS), the nuclear export signal (NES), and the site important for speckle formation (Speckle) of MmCOP1 were determined in this study. The nuclear localization signal (NLS), the cytoplasmic localization signal (CLS), and the sequence important for speckle formation (Speckle) of AtCOP1 were depicted according to previously described [15, 17].
