Kinesin-2 is not localized at intact or internalized epithelial apical junctions. In polarized T84 epithelial cells monolayers cultured under normal conditions, or in the calcium-depleted conditions, kinesin-2 (red color) is diffusely distributed in cytosol and does not colocalize with the TJ protein occludin (green color).
