Localization of GFP-tagged copine proteins in fixed cells. Cells expressing GFP or a GFP-tagged copine were fixed in 1% formaldehyde in cold methanol and stained with 0.1 μg/ml DAPI. Three images of a representative cell from each cell line are shown. The first image shows the GFP fluorescence, the second shows the DAPI staining, and the third is a merged image showing both GFP and DAPI. Images were obtained with a Nikon Eclipse Ti inverted laser scanning confocal microscope using a 60× oil immersion objective. Scale bar = 5 μm
