Localization of substitution and deletion variants. A Localization of transiently transfected KDM6A substitution variants in SW-1710 (for T-24 see Figure S4) using confocal microscopy and post-processing with HuygensPro 20.08. All variants localized to the nucleoplasm and cytoplasm. Occasionally, KDM6A positive micronuclei and cytoplasmic DNA were observed for all variants including wildtype (arrows). B Abnormal localization pattern compared to the eGFP-KDM6A WT, WTcloning and substitution variants: Leakage of DNA from the nucleus and subsequent extranuclear DNA patches are common features with all truncated variants.
