Morphological appearance & Insulin release assay of generated pancreatic β cells from DPSCs (a) and PDLSCs (b) after induction by both protocols. Following differentiation, both DPSCs (a) and PDLSCs lost their typical spindle shaped fibroblastic appearance and started to assume a more polygonal shape.
