Cell proliferation of MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells requires K19. (A) After 50,000 cells were plated on Day 0, cell numbers were counted every 24 h, up to 96 h, using a hemocytometer. (B) 1000 cells were plated on each well of 6 well plates. After growing cells for two weeks, crystal violet staining was performed to visualize colonies, and images of plates were taken. (C) The colony area was quantified using the ImageJ software.
